Guild Education
The education committee coordinates the Guild's efforts to educate all those interested in the art of quilting and other related fiber arts by awarding scholarships to Guild members for workshops, offering beginning quilt classes and conducting other outreach programs as appropriate, and coordinating the Grant/Scholarship Program.

The “Quilters of Tomorrow” need you.
Contact Colleen McConnell by email or phone.

FQ&FG “University” wants you …

As Chairperson, Colleen is looking for those who want to mentor AND those who want to be mentored.
  • Would you like to share your experience and love of quilting with some who want to learn?
  • Do you know someone who wants to learn to quilt?
  • Do you know someone who might know the basics but wants to learn more?
  • OR, do you want to share your experience and knowledge of quilting?
  • If you have any questions, or want more information, please give Colleen a call or email and help kick the new program into full gear.
This cannot be done by one person alone, now is your chance to HELP.

Wanted for Education Committee:
  • Scissors
  • Rotary Cutters
  • Rulers
  • Cutting Mats
  • Pins/Holder
  • Tape Measures

If you have used items as above that you would like to donate to be used by beginners in our new Mentoring Program, please bring to next meeting.  If you have any questions or other items you feel would be useful, please call Colleen McConnell
