The Gallery at 48 Natoma in the Folsom Art and Senior Center is displaying an exhibit of art quilts now through March 6, 2014. The Gallery is just two doors away from the Folsom Community Center. The main gallery contains art quilts by Joan Dyer, as well as paintings by Joe Strickland. Also displayed are over 60 works by art quilters from the Folsom Quilt and Fiber Guild.
Normal hours are Monday to Friday 9 to 5, and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6-8 pm.

Join us for this entertaining retrospective of Carol’s quilting career and her transition from traditional to art quilts, along with a trunk show of her newest quilts. Carol, an internationally known, award-winning quilt artist, is known for her vibrant colors, striking contrasts and machine quilting. She has created more than 500 quilts since 1993, and has won six “Best of Show” awards (with six different quilts!), has been in Quilt National three times, and has won many awards over the years. The Museum of Art and Design in NYC and the National Quilt Museum in Paducah both have her quilts in their permanent collections.
